For the last two years we have been using the PipeFlow software pipeline analysis program called PipeFlow-Expert.

PipeFlow-Expert is a great full blown off the shelf software tool for dynamic fluid system and pipeline analysis tool set that handles all these Penstock design problems and much more.
As I mentioned in another post about DoradoVista’s use of the ZipLevel Pro-2000 in our Blueberry fields, we also used PipeFlow-Expert to analyze and design our Blueberry irrigation water mains as well. PipeFlow-Expert provides an Easy setup of the existing or proposed Pipeline configuration and after very few iterations, wham you have “problem solved!” For example in our Berry fields, we have no water hammer and massive amounts of high pressure flow for the best price the first time!
The same values hold true for our Penstock analysis. These irrigation pipe design problems are in addition to DoradoVista’s regular use of PipeFlow-Expert for Hydropower Penstocks designs that we’ve solved.
